Matt Govendo is the Founder and President of Elite Wealth Management Group.
A native of Cicero, New York, Matt is a lifelong Syracusan. He graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School in 2000, and then studied at both Onondaga Community College and SUNY Canton where he majored in business management.
For years, Matt was a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual, acquiring an invaluable breadth of experience.
With an ambition and vision to offer clients an even more personal wealth management experience, he founded Elite Wealth Management Group in 2018.
Matt is an active member of the community he loves and makes sure to give back whenever possible. In his spare time he enjoys boating, golfing, all things Syracuse athletics and the New York Yankees, and is a proud manager of his youth travel baseball organization, the Salt City Swing Kings.
Matt has been married to his wife, Laura, for 15 years, and has two sons, Matthew (18) and Connor (14).
